Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links Wedding Video | May 2022 | Retig Productions

Situated on The Velvet Strand, Gayle and Andrew got married in Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links at the end of May. An outdoor ceremony with a stunning backdrop of Ireland’s Eye was definitely something I couldn’t resist as a wedding videographer who hasn’t filmed there before. It’s so lovely to capture a wedding so close to home with a fellow Swords lady.

Bridal preparations were in the hotel in the Portmarnock suite, what a spacious and bright room, ideal for bridal preparations. I then took the quick journey over to Malahide to capture some groom preparations in Gayle and Andrew’s home. Mammy Bacon cooked up a breakfast feast for all to enjoy.

The ceremony was on the front lawn overlooking Ireland’s eye. The celebrant on the day was Shelley O'Shea from Celebrate Your Day who gave a beautiful hand fasting ceremony. 

The night was taken away into the early hours by the brilliant band Spring Break.
